So I went to go see Will Smith’s Annual 4th of July extravaganza, only to be supremely disappointed with the results. Hancock is about a super-hero, Will Smith, who becomes a reclusive alcoholic after causing taxpayers millions of dollars in damages and falling out of the public’s favor. He meets Jason Bateman, a publicist also trying to get his career back on track, and the two try to mend their own situations by working together. I thought this movie would at least be on par with I Am Legend or iRobot, but man this movie was WACK. Sure, the special effects were cool, but the plot made the movie simply painful to watch. I should’ve went to go see Wall-E.
